Khemraj Ramjattan and Micheal Carrington, an AFC executive member, will now wait on the outcome of a vote to formally announce the Presidential candidate of the party even after a huge endorsement today by AFC leader Raphael Trotman.
At a convention today Trotman said, “Today, I pass the baton of opportunity to be the candidate for President of Guyana to my brother, Khemraj Ramjattan” . Trotman is confident that the AFC through it’s leaders and executives can make positive changes to the governance of the country and remove the racial pattern that existed for ages.
