Cabinet Secretary Dr. Roger Luncheon today said the Guyana Police force will benefit from contracts awarded and given its no objection by the Government.
16.8 million dollars to be spent for the supply and installation of separation walls (cubicles), 15.5 million dollars to acquire vehicles for the Police force and 158.4 million dollars for the construction of a training centre at Eve Leary Police compound.
Meanwhile the Force will be unveiling a special plan to deal with security measure in Georgetown during the Christmas Season. The plan will be announced on Thursday November 4th, 2010
