A temple dedicated to the ‘Goddess English’ is being built in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri district.
The temple a black granite covered single storied building will house a new Idol. The idol which will be just over three meters in height will be the ‘Dalit Goddess English’.
The idol will stand on a pedestal in the shape of a computer, she will be holding a pen and a copy of the Indian Constitution. The statue in Banka Village will be covered with a Gown and would be wearing a hat. This statue was inspired by the Statue of Liberty.
The computer screen will have a dharma chakra (a Budhist symbol).
