Local Government Minister Chandresh Sharma has made an about turn over his decision to suspend construction at the San Juan market. Two weeks ago Sharma expressed concern that the $52 million market was not "value for money". However today in a meeting with stakeholders over the proposed market, Sharma instructed the contractor to begin work on Monday. The contractor, Rohan Saisbhan expects construction to be completed in one years’ time.
