Food and Drug Department recalls Tylenol – mouldy odor detected

The local Food and Drug Department is ordering pharmacies, importers and consumers to immediately surrender Tylenol 8-hour caplets to the Analyst Department.

This comes in the wake of a recall of the drug by manufacturer Mc Neil Consumer Healthcare of the United States.

In a release  today, the Government Analyst Department said the product produces a musty mouldy odor, caused by the presence of the chemical 2, 4, 6 Tribronoansile. In addition, the department issued a call for Miracle Mineral Solution, a drug obtained through Internet sale. The drug is sold purportedly  as a treatment for serious sicknesses like HIV, TB, malaria and cancer.

The department said this product is known to have devastating effects on consumers’ health. Effects include persistent vomiting, dehydration, abdominal pains and burning in the throat.
