Woman in custody days after torching her own home

Police have Denise Monroe under strict observation in custody after she continues to make threats of killing herself. Since she torched her family house a few nights ago, Monroe has become suicidal. Police believe that she may need professional help if her condition worsen. The woman became enraged a few weeks ago after her marital relationship with her husband ended in a divorce  following constant domestic disputes.

The woman is said to have suffered a nervous break down and turned on her family, hence the burning of the home. She left four family members homeless who are now with other relatives in the community of Plaisance.
