Three armed bandits attacked and robbed the D.Singh family at around 19 hrs. Friday evening at their home in Atlantic Gardens, East Coast Demerara. When TrakkerNews visited the scene, the Police were scouring the area for possible clues. Based on reports, Singh who operates a business in the city had just off loaded a container when a white Carina pulled up and three gunmen emerged. They proceeded to rob the businessman who was outside his yard. It is not clear whether the men went inside the premises, but from reports they escaped with a substantial amount of cash and valuables. Police believe that the car PKK 2056 was hijacked earlier today. The vehicle was abandoned in Industry as the gunmen made good their escape. According to an eyewitness, the car came to an immediate stop and 3 armed men came out and fled on foot into nearby bushes in the area. It is believed that the car ran out of fuel after Police were hot on their trail. The cops searched nearby houses and trenches, but came up empty handed. Police forensics, dusted the car for finger prints. Patrols were dispatched to surrounding areas as they hunt for the bandits.
