More robberies continue adding to further fear and frustration as the society tries to come to grasp with the series of gang style murders over recent weeks. Police are hunting for three suspects who carried out a midnight robbery in Mon Repos on the East Coast and in the process shot Steven Ramahlo in the leg. According to statements by the injured man’s wife, Police are trying to piece together a nexus between what they claim to be a similarity in the attack with the one in Cornelia Ida, Thursday last. Two brothers were shot in that robbery. The investigators believe that at least one of the robbers based on description given may have been involved in both attacks.
The Police who captured three bandits, and recovered the stolen goods from the Leonora market heist, are also examining the possibility of whether there are connections to the spate of robberies that rocked the society of recent. Sources within the Police told TrakkerNews that there seem to be similarities in these robberies particularly the ones ending in shooting of victims. Asked whether this is one gang operating around the country, the Police were unable to say.
