Bullets from the leg and arm of Bridgemohan Khemlall , one of the two brothers that was shot by bandits last night at Cornelia Ida were removed by doctors at the Balwant Singh Hospital this evening.
The other brother Premanandat is still losing blood and according to the doctors at Georgetown Public Hospital, four bullets are still in his body in the area of the abdomen and not two that was reported earlier.
His condition is listed critical.
Tonight the police said one of the gunmen in last night robbery at CI may have been shot during an exchange of gunfire with the law men.
The police found traces of blood in the area where the bandits escaped.
The police are calling on citizens to be on the look out for any person trying to seek secret medical attention
