The two brothers that were shot last night at Cornelia Ida (CI) during a robbery are presently in intensive care units at two separate city hospitals.
24 year old Bridgemohan Khemlall is receiving blood at the Georgetown Public Hospital and is listed as critical by doctors. Two bullets are still lodged in his abdomen.
The other brother 22 year old Premanandat Khemlall is being still treated at Balwant Singh Hospital for gunshot wounds to the arm and leg.
Last night bandits broke into a flat building at CI and during the ordeal the two brothers were shot and their mother Parbattie was beaten.
Parbattie was treated at the West Demerara Hospital.
