Dozens of Jamaat al Muslimeen members crowded the Port of Spain Eight Magistrates’ Court in support of Imam Yasin Abu Bakr today.
Abu Bakr along with Brent "Big Brent" Miller reappeared before Magistrate Marcia Ayers-Caesar today charged with the 1998 murder of Israel Sammy.
Dozens more supporters lined the street outside the courthouse chanting "Tikah Allahu Ackbar" while Abu Bakr was escorted to the prison van.
The matter has been adjourned to October 16.
The duo will remain in custody at the Maximum Security Prison until then.
