Georgetown : Mark Royden Durant aka Royden Williams and Smallie, who escaped from the Camp Street Prison on 9th July 2017, is now in police custody, having been recaptured about 8pm yesterday on the Weldaad public road, West Coast Berbice in a passenger minibus as a result of intelligence led operation.
He was unarmed and alone.
Durant is believe to be the mastermind of the daring jail break and burring down of the Prison. He was on death row after being convicted for murde.
